Old fashioned Frikkadels

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 slice of bread, soaked in milk
  • 1 whole onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Olive/Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:

  • Squeeze the excess milk from the soaked bread and discard.
  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well
  • Shape the mixture into round patties or balls
  • Heat oil in frying pan on medium
  • Fry the Frikkadels in batches, turning occasionally until they are brown on all sides and cooked through (Approximately 10-15min)
  • Remove Frikkadels from pan and drain on paper towels
  • Serve hot with your choice of sides (Chips/wedges, mashed potato, veges…)
