Old fashioned Frikkadels
Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef
- 1 slice of bread, soaked in milk
- 1 whole onion, finely chopped
- 1 large egg
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Olive/Vegetable oil for frying
Preparation:
- Squeeze the excess milk from the soaked bread and discard.
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well
- Shape the mixture into round patties or balls
- Heat oil in frying pan on medium
- Fry the Frikkadels in batches, turning occasionally until they are brown on all sides and cooked through (Approximately 10-15min)
- Remove Frikkadels from pan and drain on paper towels
- Serve hot with your choice of sides (Chips/wedges, mashed potato, veges…)
