Broccoli Chicken Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus more for the casserole dish
- 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 cup milk, or half-and-half
- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
- 1 dash nutmeg (Optional) (Or switch with mixed herbs/spices to taste)
- 1 dash freshly ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese (Or grated cheddar works fine too)
Preparation:
Gather the ingredients.

Position a rack in the center of the oven and heat to 190C (375 F). Lightly butter a 1 1/2- to 2-quart baking dish or casserole.

In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, chicken, butter, nutmeg, pepper, and broccoli.

Turn the mixture out into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.

Bake for about 25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serve.
